We’re pleased to say that we shall once again be playing at the 2013 Mangotsfield Festival.

Mangotsfield festival thanks
We’d like to say thanks to everyone who came along to the 2012 Mangotsfield festival. The weather was really wet and the mud was starting to look a little bit like Glastonbury, but the crowd was still up for it, and we had a great night.
We’ll hopefully see you there again next year.

Mangotsfield Festival 2012
As I’ve previously mentioned, Vehicle will be headlining this years festival which is being held on Saturday 16th June. You can get full details on the venue and what’s happening this year from the festival website http://www.mangotsfieldfestival.co.uk.
Vehicle will be the last act of the day and will performing at around 8:50 until the close of the festival at 10pm.
The festival is free and has loads to offer for families plus some great music throughout the day.

Chef’s Night Out charity event
We had a great gig at the Chefs’ Night Out event in Cardiff http://www.chefsnightout.co.uk. The last we’d heard they had raised £90k for this great cause http://www.tyhafan.org.
We’re proud to have been a small part of this event and look forward to taking part again next year.

Chefs’ Night Out gig
After a great gig at Party in the City earlier this summer we have been invited to play the Chefs’ Night Out prestigious charity dinner in Cardiff on the 3rd Sept. The event will be held at the Holland House Hotel.
Chefs’ Night Out 2011 raises money for the fantastic Tŷ Hafan children’s hospice and last year raised £100,000. You can make a donation here www.justgiving.com/chefsnightout (more…)

There are a number of bands playing during the course of the day including Armands Allstars who are great. We have an hour slot which starts at approx 3pm. So, if you want to catch the Vehicle set get there just before 3.
As always, come and say “Hi” and have a good boogie. It should be a fun event.
Party In The Park – Oh What A Night!
We had a fantastic gig in Parade Gardens for the Party In The Park show at the Bath Music Festival. The set up was great, the sound guys were extremely helpful and professional and the crowd…. Well, what can I say.. A huge crowd who were well up for a party. Thanks to you all for making it a night to remember.
We played around 12 songs and at one point had the largest conga line in front of the band stand that I’ve ever seen (see pic below).

Bath Music Festival
We will be performing at the Bath Music Festival www.bathmusicfest.org.uk on the 27th May 2011.
The venue will be the Parade Gardens and we will be onstage from 21:15 – 22:00.

Boogie on down with great live music from Vehicle
Vehicle are a nine piece band hailing from Bristol in the UK. The band was brought together with the aim of standing out from the usual crowd of covers bands who all seem to be performing the same old tired numbers, the same old tired way. “Lets try something a little more challenging” they thought. So they did!
Vehicle consists of 9 musicians of the highest calibre. Starting with an absolutely storming rhythm section, continuing with a tight and powerful brass section and topped off with a highly entertaining Vocalist. The key to the Vehicle sound is the diversity of the musical backgrounds of all it’s members. This enables Vehicle to perform a huge variety of material ensuring that the Vehicle play list has something for everyone. For a taster, check out the music section.
